| 9th Annual BAE Systems Challenge 2002 |

BAE Systems overcame the RAF team to claim back the Typhoon Trophy this year. They were also the hosts for this two day event in the Lake District.
Day One was an Individual competition with an Open category course and a President's course. Day two saw RAFO & BAE joined forces in mixed teams of 3 for a fun competition. The teams were organised to be comparative in ability, and theoretically provide similar times.
Overall results for both days are shown below.
| BAE - OPEN = 1+1+5+6 = 13 + PRESIDENTS = 1+3 = 4 | TOTAL = 17 |
| RAF - OPEN = 1+4+6+8 = 19 + PRESIDENTS = 2+4 = 6 | TOTAL = 25 |
