The Inter Service Championships 2002 were held on 1st Dec 2002 at Pepperslade, Cannock Chase. The Event was organised by Walton Chasers Orienteering Club. The men competed on a Black course over a distance of 10.3km and 350m of climb, whilst the ladies competed on the Blue course over 6.2km and 240m of climb. The winners were defined by the seven fastest runners from each team in the mens event, and the three fastest runners from each team in the ladies event. Again, the Army proving their superiority at Orienteering by comprehensively beating us into 2nd place in both the men and ladies events. The results are shown below: |
