| 6th Annual British Aerospace Challenge 1999 |
There was a change of venue for this years event as the RAF took on the organisation, and moved the event north of the border to Aviemore. The vanue for the main event was Uath Lochan, Aviemore, a technical area that had even the top RAF runners scratching there heads. Even the route to the first control saw many flounder and lose valuable minutes.
The scoring system is based on positions and the RAF won convincingly to take the Typhoon trophy. Many thanks to Mike Rodgers and his team at RAF Kinloss for immaculate organisation and to Tim Watkins at British Aerospace for organising the sponsorship of the event and accomodation.
