RAFOAThe Royal Air Force Orienteering Association is the governing body of the sport of Orienteering in the RAF. RAFOA is constitued and governed by RAF regulations set out in AP3415 Section 3 Chapter 23 (see http://www.raf.mod.uk/rafsportsboard/policy/). RAFOA is administered through its Executive Committee. RAFORAFO (Royal Air Force Orienteers) is the closed sports club affiliated to the national governing body, the British Orienteering Federation. RAF personnel participating in the sport at a representative level, or on duty, run as RAFO members. All RAF personnel can join as full members. RAFO RegionsRAFO is divided into three administrative regions to promote participation within the Service and engender competition between and among Stations. RAFO regions were set up following the merging of the commands and the end of the Inter Command Champs.
