Top placed men and women in RAFO for 2010 - Updated 24 May 10

These are the latest scores following the RAFO Exercise Trans-Pennine Paradise incorporating the Lake District 5 (4) days and White Rose.  It is nice to see that many more people now havve 6 or more scores and are therefore making themselves more competitve in the RAFO selection standings.  It is also nice to see that 2 men have their ranking pot from 4 scores and 4 women with others being tantalisingly close.  There are also those who have earned pots by piling in the events.  Well done to you, it is a fitting reward for the effort you ahve put in.

I look forward to seeing a great crowd at the RAF Champs on 22 Sep 10 at Woolmer.

For a custom list of current RAFO placings in the official BOF rankings, compiled from results over the last 12 month, visit the BOF mens and womens rankings.

As in previous years, the RAFO rankings will be compiled in accordance with the current criteria:

• Best 4 scores contribute towards the 2800 Point Ranking Pot.
• Total points contribute towards the 7500 Point Ranking Pot.
• Best 6 score count towards Inter Services team selection.

Results will been taken from the RAFO Fixtures List for 2010. If you notice there is a score missing from your results, please inform Chris Poole listing the first 3 of the M/W longest course along with your own results plus course lengths.  To contact him fill in the Fixtures Sec contact form.

Points will be given to people who Organise, Plan or Control an event. The following events will qualify with points awarded    Spring/Autumn Event, District Event (800), Regional Event (1000). You will be only able to claim points for one event a year and it will be shown in blue.

Events carry the following  weighting as follows:

§ BOC by incrementing by 1.3.
§ JK/WR by incrementing score by 1.2.
§ National events by incrementing score by 1.1.
§ Short course running by incrementing by 0.9.
§ District, RAFO Spring Event by incrementing by 0.8.
